Solo and Ensembles

The Ritchie County High School Band program has a long tradition of excellence in music. The hours of hard work and dedication of the students should be evident in everything we do. For the past eight years the Ritchie County Wind Ensemble has received the highest Rating from the WVMEA/WVSSAC Assessment and Evaluation Festival. The high school concert band program consists of a Wind Ensmeble and Jazz Ensmeble. Every student participates in the WVMEA Solo and Ensemble Contest, and many of our students audition for All-State Band. Our school is located in Ellenboro, West Virginia which is between Clarksburg and Parkersburg on U.S. Route 50.
